Smoke Inn Announces Aganorsa Leaf Rare Fusion - Cigar News

Smoke Inn Cigars is adding a 19th cigar to their longstanding MicroBlend Series, this time collaborating with Aganorsa Leaf for the first time to make “Rare Fusion.” For this special cigar, Smoke Inn tasked the blending team at Aganorsa Leaf to combine their popular Supreme Leaf and Rare Leaf lines.

Aganorsa Leaf focuses mainly on growing Corojo '99 and Criollo '98 seeds, with Supreme Leaf being Corojo dominant, while Rare Leaf is Criollo dominant. With the Aganorsa Leaf Rare Fusion, the cigar what they deemed to be the best of both worlds, showcasing the sweet, slightly salty, graham cracker-like characteristics that have made Aganorsa's Corojo '99 being used as the wrapper and portions of the filler. Meanwhile, Aganorsa's peppery/savory Criollo is used throughout the filler recipe. As an added touch, the cigars also include the company's newest leaf, a Nicaraguan Corojo 2012 which is included in the filler to create a synthesis of these two incredible blends in one Nicaraguan puro.

The cigar is, of course, rolled at Aganorsa's factory in Estelí. Aganorsa Leaf Rare Fusion comes in just one size, a 6″ x 54 toro, using a larger ring gauge so as to best showcase the unique Corojo '99, Corojo 2012, and Criollo '98 tobacco. Only 500 boxes were created for this release. This one-off release is scheduled for a spring launch, being sold exclusively at Smoke Inn through their website, smokeinn.com.

Aganorsa Rare Fusion will be available for sale beginning Wednesday May 10th, Noon EST.
