If you don’t want to wait half a decade to age your own Cuban cigars, Habanos will do the aging for you. A new series of Cuban cigars with extra age is now shipping to retailers across the world. They are part of a program called Añejados (which translates to “aged”), and according to distributor Habanos S.A., these cigars are aged in Cuba for a period of five to eight years before going out to the global retail market.
Partagás Coronas Gordas Añejados and Hoyo de Monterrey Hermosos No. 4 are the Habanos introduced in this new Línea. Following the concept, these are the Habanos aged in Cuba for a minimum of five years. Habanos, S.A. presents two new Habanos Añejados continuing the concept introduced a year ago: these are Habanos that have been already rolled and aged in Cuba for 5 years or more in perfect conditions of conservation, which have let them to obtain the shades and complexity without losing their initial organoleptic characteristics.
