“I really enjoyed this cigar. Transition of flavors was noticeable, but subtle. Draw, burn, finish, flavors, construction, complexity, all admirable. Ultimately, I would buy this cigar.” -Randy B. (randobush)

“Magnificent cigar. Loved it. Perfect format for me personally, and a flavor profile to match. Big, bold flavors of earth with a world wind tour of coffee, molasses, spices, peppercorns and a bit of an anisette flashing around on the finish. Tremendous construction, nearly flawless. Very extremely well made. Nice progression in terms of strength, starts out very manageable and builds to an agreeable and enjoyable full body by the end. Quite possibly the perfect cigar to follow a big meal. I’m buying boxes. No doubt about it. ” -John I. (John I.)

“What made the cigar unique is that while the primary flavors of citrus, meats, and chocolates were always there, the aspect of those flavors changed. You start off with a nice grilled steak and then you moved to a barbecue, and then you finished with something that was overly prepared. Or you had a nice citrus peel, that went dry. And then you finished with an unripened fruit. Very unique.I I found that rather interesting and I would definitely give this a try again.” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

I have always been a fan of Kristoff cigars and this cigar doesn’t disappoint. I was a big fan of the Kristoff DS4 from the Galerones series. I was happy to see that blend made itself back into the portfolio and is a staple in my humidor for a nice cigar with my morning coffee.

This was a very enjoyable cigar. There were plenty of flavors to keep me interested and kept looking at the cigar like mmmm mmm. This cigar would an excellent choice as your first cigar of the day with your favorite cup of joe. The draw was very nice and open, and had a razor sharp burn that needed no touch ups. I smoked the cigar with an inch to go, and would liked to have continue on, but it went out.

“I struggled with the rating on this one. I ended up giving it the benefit of the doubt and rating it “good” instead of “fair” because it was not in my wheelhouse. Overall, I wouldn’t want to smoke it again. It strikes me as very similar to several homerolls I’ve tried, the flavor profile was overly syrupy, and lacked clarity. I tend to prefer a cleaner flavor profile. It’s not for me, but fans of sweet cigars or sumatra wrappers might appreciate this one.” -Derek (StogieNinja)

“Overall this cigar did not perform very well. The first third was great and if the cigar had performed the entire time the way that first third did it would have been a totally different experience. The cigar did not want to stay lit and it really fell flat. ” -Zane G. (Zane)

“This was a nice pleasant smoke that I would absolutely smoke again. I believe this was a corona or even a petite corona. There was plenty of transitions to keep my attention. Starting out with wood, chocolate and rye then switching up to earth tones then settling out with cream…..very interesting smoke. ” -Mickey T. (irratebass)

“This stick is proof that you cant judge a book by its cover. Where its appearance was lacking, its performance and flavors were on point. A very nice smoke that I will absolutely smoke again. ” -Dave W. (mdwest)

“As ugly as this cigar was, it goes to show that you can’t judge a book by the cover. The flavors were so good. There was complexity, and yet consistent notes that pulled everything together. I would gladly reach for this cigar again. ” -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)

“I really enjoyed smoking this cigar. The first 1/3 of the cigar was truly fantastic. Really great spice and pepper to begin mixed with hints of sweetness. If the flavors continued throughout the rest of the cigar, it would have ranked much higher for me. While the second and final 1/3 of the cigar was very good, I was missing a lot of the flavors that the cigar started out having. ” -David F. (dfafjf)
