Cohiba (STG) is launching an updated version of their Weller by Cohiba cigar. This new limited-edition updates the blend to include a Connecticut-grown Broadleaf binder leaf that has been aged in authentic Weller Bourbon barrels. To achieve the aging, those barrels were transported from the famed Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY to General Cigar Dominicana in Santiago, DR where the cigars were rolled.
Today, General Cigar launched a new cigar under the Cohiba brand: Weller by Cohiba. The cigar is meant to be paired with Weller Bourbon made by the Buffalo Trace distillery. The blend was made in partnership with Weller Bourbon and was made to compliment the wide array of hard-to-find Weller Bourbon.
