West Tampa Tobacco Company Announces the Attic Series – Cigar News

Following the release of the West Tampa Tobacco Company Black & White lines earlier this year, Rick Rodriguez has announced a sophomore release, the Attic Series. The first in the line will be called Attic.

The Attic Series is an ongoing project that will explore this history of Rick’s life through blends and stories that he has kept locked away in his “Attic” for nearly 30 years. Each blend will tell a unique story in the series that gives some insight into the blending of some of his cigars. Only 2,000 boxes will be sold in the U.S.

The company says the Attic Series will have lots of Easter Eggs throughout the box and bands including the textured West Tampa logo on the wall, and the Chaveta resting against the lone chair, used by Rick’s Grandfather in both Cuba and West Tampa. Each element tells a unique story in Rick life.

The cigars come packed in a 14-count slide-top box. The blend uses a Mexican San Andreas wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and fillers. Attic Series: Attic also comes with a special QR Code found on the foot band consumers can scan and receive a personal message from Rick himself. Attic Series: Attic comes in just one size, a 6 x 54 with an MSRP of $12.99.

First shipments of Attic Series: Attic will begin in mid-Oct ‘22 and will be available both in the US and select international markets. More additions to Attic Series will be added in the years to come with Rick targeting 1-2 micro launches per year.
