Familia Rodriguez Tobacos LLC, parent company of Ohana Cigars, announced today Left Hand Cigar Co. The new brand of cigars will be produced at an undisclosed factory in Nicaragua under supervision of Noel Rojas.
Left Hand Cigar Co will release its first 2 lines at the IPCPR trade show. The first is “Blurred Lines” blended with ann Nicaraguan fillers from Condega, Jalapa, and Ometepe. It features a barber pole style wrapper with both Nicaraguan habano and Habano Maduro with closed foot.
The second release is a Connecticut Broadleaf version of the “Pulse”. This is the same line as the existing Ohana Pulse lines, but this version will be released under the Left Hand brand. It will have a closed foot and box press, just like the Ohaha versions.
The company also announced that in the near future the production of most of it’s Ohana and Left Hand limited release cigars will be made at a new factory in the USA in Dallas, Texas also operated by Noel Rojas. The cigars will be rolled mostly by Cuban refugees that comes from experience at Cuban factories like Partagas, La Corona, El Laguito etc.
