Rocky Patel Premium Cigars (RPPC) will debut the third line of cigars developed by Cuban master blender, Hamlet Paredes. It is called Liberation by Hamlet, and will be a single size figurado with a tapered head and shaggy foot. It’s meant as a testament to Hamlet’s talent as a cigar roller that is regularly displayed during his countless in-store events nationwide.
This new blend uses an Ecuadorian Habano seed wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from Honduras and Nicaraguan. The size is 6.5 x 55, including roughly one inch of shaggy foot. “The shaggy foot is meant to be smoked,” said Paredes. “It provides a nice introduction to the cigar, then everything changes when you reach the wrapper.”
Liberation by Hamlet will release to the marketplace in August of 2018 and be presented in 10-count boxes. The MSRP will be $11.10/cigar.
