Today, Espinosa Cigars announced a new vitola to their Crema line: Rabito. This will be the fourth vitola joining a Robusto (5 1/2 x 52), Toro Grande (6 x 56), and Churchill (7 x 48). The cigar was first teased on the company’s Facebook Live, Tuesday, January 8, and is now available to retailers.
The original Espinosa Crema line was launched in 2016, meant to be a cigar with a milder profile. Like many other of the company’s lines, it ism Erik Espinosa‘s La Zona factory. The blend uses a Connecticut Shade wrapper from Ecuador over Nicaraguan binder and fillers.
Hector Alfonso Sr., Director of Operations, said in the press release, “The Crema has served as our gateway cigar. Something that has appealed to those interested in the brand but considered that we might not have something in our repertoire for them to try. Fortunately, it has done very well, becoming a fan favorite, and we wanted to provide a smaller ring gauge to the lineup.”
The Crema Rabito, is 6 x 46, Corona Grande and has a small pigtail cap. All of the Crema cigars come in 10 Count boxes, and Rabito will be sold for $84.00 a box.
