Cigar News: Alec Bradley Announces Fine & Rare HOF / 506

Alec Bradley‘s Fine & Rare series will return in November. Fine & Rare started in 2011 when Alan Rubin set out to make the most complex cigar in the world. The first blend used 10 different tobaccos. Each year since, the company has released a new Fine & Rare with different tobaccos and sizes.

The 2019 Fine & Rare is called the HOF / 506, and comes in a 6 ¼” X 54 box pressed gran toro. The cigar is dedicated to the life and legacy of Alan Rubin’s father, David Rubin, who passed away in late 2018. He appears on the band.

“The 2019 release is the most important of the Fine & Rare releases since its inception,” Alan said. “This is an homage and dedication to David Rubin, my father; who inspired me to always work hard and never give up- so we strive to be the best. My true commemorative piece in honor of my father David Rubin. We love and miss you; Alan Rubin and family.”

Only a single pair of master rollers rolls the Fine & Rare HOF / 506. The blend uses an estate grown wrapper from Trojes, Honduras, with binder and fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras. Production is limited to 2,500 10-count boxes. Pricing is $21.90 per cigar. It is rolled at the Raices Cubanas Factory in Danlí, Honduras. Raices Cubanas makes many of Alec Bradley‘s other blends.
