Alec Cuevas, is from Miami native and grew up around the family business: tobacco. He spent summers with his grandfather, and master blender of Casa Cuevas, Luis Cuevas Sr., at the Las Lavas Cigar Factory. He smoked his first cigar at age 17 celebrating New Year’s. He also spent time working for Neptune Cigar Super Store in Miami, while attending Florida International University.
“I couldn’t finish it but smoking my very first cigar with my father and grandfather during that New Year’s Eve celebration was one of my most memorable moments in my life.”
