Today, Cigar Dojo and Espinosa Cigars announced another collaboration: Psychedelic Turtle. The two companies have previously collaborated on a number of releases including Sensei’s Sensational Sarsaparilla, and Feng Shui.
Psychedelic Turtle is blended by Héctor J. Alfonso Sr. and Erik Espinosa and rolled at La Zona in Estelí. The blend uses a Brazliian Ballaño wrapper and features high-priming fillers from Nicaragua‘s northernmost growing regions Condega and Jalapa.
“And now for something completely different,” commented Eric Guttormson, owner of Cigar Dojo. “Turn on the black light, crank up the Pink Floyd, and lose yourself in the awesome flavor of the Psychedelic Turtle. Thank me later.”
Psychedelic Turtle comes in a turtle shell inspired shape, a 5″ x 56 box-pressed robusto grande. The cigar comes packaged in 10-count bundles in random colors. As a special surprise, three random bundles contain in invitation to Espinosa‘s 2019 La Zona Palooza festival (airfare and lodging not included). Only 400 total bundles were produced. The cigar is sold exclusively through JR Cigar and is being released June 7th 12:00pm EST with Smoke Inn’s Smokin’ In The Carolinas cigar festival the next day. It will be available online and to attendees. Pricing is set at $89.95 per bundle of 10. Dojo members will receive a special 10% discount through the app.
“It’s always a trip collaborating with Cigar Dojo,” noted Erik Espinosa, owner of Espinosa Premium Cigars. “With our fourth official project, we went all out—perhaps letting our creativity get the best of us!”
