Crowned Heads announced today an exclusive limited edition cigar, Sanctuary, for Smokers Abbey. Smokers Abbey is based out of Nashville, TN and focuses on boutique cigars. Like many other Crowned Heads releases, this cigar is made at EP Carrillo’s La Alianza S.A. factory in Dominican Republic. The cigar is a trunk pressed Genios vitola that measures 5.5″ x 52. The blend uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, and Nicaraguan binder and fillers. Production is limited to 333 boxes of 12.
Jon Huber, co-owner and founder of Crowned Heads says, “We’ve been amazed to witness the rapid rise of the Abbey since they began from square one five plus years ago. We’ve always had a mutually supportive local relationship and it’s really been a labor of love to create a shop exclusive for them. ‘Sanctuary’ have been aged for over fourteen months, and they are truly a special smoke for a special tobacconist.”
