Gurkha Cigars started shipping the special edition 15-year Cellar Reserve cigar to stores across the United States. This cigar was created to commemorate the Cellar Reserve‘s 10-year anniversary. The Cellar Reserve is the company’s first brick and mortar cigar and its most successful brand and this anniversary edition was very well received during this year’s IPCPR.
The cigar is a special vitola and is rolled in a hand selected and very rare wrapper leaf. The medium body, full-flavor smoke comes from an Ecuadorian Rosado wrapper, the Vintage Nicaraguan filler is from Jalapa, Condega and Esteli and the cigar has a Nicaraguan binder.
The cigars are housed in a limited edition 50-count humidor box, each one individually numbered. Only 1,000 of these limited edition 50-count boxes have been made and they retail for $700/box. The cigar will have a per stick MSRP of $14.
“The Cellar Reserve has always been very well received and garners amazing ratings and this special edition is no different,” said Kaizad Hansotia, CEO of Gurkha Cigars. “Stores loved this cigars as will cigar lovers and we are excited to finally be able to make it available so Gurkha fans can enjoy it.”
