Gurkha Cigars has announce two new cigars to be released at TPE 2020 going on this week. Castle Hall and Prize Fighter Maduro will be shown off at their booth, both of which the company are calling value cigars and will be offered at less than $5 per cigar when purchased by box.
“These new offerings epitomizes what a value cigar should be which a great cigar for a great price,” said Jim Colucci, President of Gurkha Cigars. “These cigars have the quality and flavor of premium cigars but at an incredibly attractive price point.”
Castle Hall is an old Cuban brand that was brought back to life by Gurkha. It is now rolled in the Dominican Republic. The line has been sold as a Cigars International exclusive prior to this release. The blend uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut seed wrapper, Ecuadorian Habano binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. It comes in three sizes in boxes of 20: Robusto (5×52), Toro (6×54), Magnum (6×60). It will ship in the first quarter of this year.
Prize Fighter Maduro is a line extension to their original Prize Fighter line. The cigar is made in the Dominican Republic and uses a maduro wrapper, Sumatra binder, and Cuban sandwich filler of Dominican Longfiller and a Dominican short filler. The Prize Fighter Maduro comes in the same sizes as the original packaged in 20-count bundles, 60-count/3 compartment trays and specially designed fresh-lock pouches (5 cigars per pouch/8 pouch outer). The sizes are: Robusto (5×52), Toro (6×54), and XO (6×60).
