This year, Joya de Nicaragua has shipped two TAA exclusive cigars: Antaño Gran Reserva Presidente and Selección de Torcedor. The Antaño Gran Reserva Presidente returns from 2018 unchanged. The Selección de Torcedor is a new release but is only available with the purchase of the Gran Reserva as a 5-pack.
Antaño Gran Reserva Presidente celebrates 50 years of TAA, the Nicaraguan cigar industry, and its Nicaraguas oldest factory, Fábrica de Tabacos Joya de Nicaragua. Production is limited annually to 1,000 boxes.

Selección de Torcedor is a new idea for Joya de Nicaragua. Every year Joya’s torcedores will pick a special blend and size as a part of this program to be shipped to TAA stores. They will use feedback from these releases for a potential full release. The blend for Selección de Torcedor in 2019 is said to be very approachable, smooth yet flavorful, and with a selection of tobacco designed to showcase the historic ties between Nicaragua and the US.
