Initial Impressions

Appearance: 93

“It is a little guy. The wrapper has an almost dark fudge brownie look to it with a slight sheen in the light. I am finding the seams are almost invisible, the cap is well applied, and the flag is nice and large. There’s a few knotty veins that give it a slightly rustic appearance but it looks very well made.” – (Eulogy)

Aroma: 91

“On the nose this cigar exudes scents of earth, buckwheat honey with a creamy finish. When put through a cold draw, this sample includes similar notes from the sniff test.” – (Bostoneo)

First Third

Flavor: 91
Strength: Medium
Body/Complexity: Medium

“Draw is perfect. Dark chocolate notes up front cayenne spice to finish. Chocolate notes are sweet bitter and delicious. Some very little leather notes detectable but not adding much to the profile. Smoke is very thick and chewy plumes of flavorful smoke.” – ()

“Things kick off with a delicious espresso profile and touch of pepper on the retro.” – (Unpossible_1)

Second Third

Second Third

Flavor: 91
Strength: Medium-Strong
Body/Complexity: Medium-Full

“Almost buttery in texture now with a super creamy smoke. The core flavors are still very similar with notes of oak, baking spice, rich tobacco, and a touch of sweetness. The retrohale has a nice shot of pepper to liven up the experience as well.” – (Eulogy)

“Being a smaller cigar, the thirds are naturally shorter in duration. So with that being said, I didn’t expect much in transitions of the profile either and was correct in this case. The cigar sticks with the simple profile of espresso and subtle notes of pepper.” – (Unpossible_1)

Final Third

Final Third

Flavor: 90
Strength: Medium-Strong
Body/Complexity: Medium-Full

“I can’t believe this draw so perfect. Chocolate and leather all the profile offers, but that is good enough for me. Buy boxes.” – ()

“Deeper notes of cedar are now the dominant flavor but there is a slightly acidic note on the finish. The strength is a touch fuller now with a spot on burn and smoke output to pair.” – (Eulogy)

“I loved the draw. The profile wasn’t to complex but it was delicious. A great cigar.” – ()

“It’s June while I’m reviewing this so the talk of winter smokes seems out of place here but this is a strong contender for the colder months. The smoke output, flavors, and construction all make this a tiny but mighty cigar for me. If you want a compact flavorful cigar this could be what you’re looking for.” – (Eulogy)

“Thankfully, this one was a short smoke. While I am sure full bodied cigar lovers may enjoy this, it was a bit too intense for me, especially right off the bat. Primary flavors of heavy char, and big bold earthy notes with a touch of pepper dominated this cigar from the front to the back. Construction was top notch as evidenced by the quality of the burn and draw. Full bodied lovers who want a small smoke… try it out.” – (Bostoneo)

“Solid cigar with some heavy doses of espresso and pepper and decent enough body that I wouldn’t smoke it on an empty stomach. Not overly complex, so a cigar you can enjoy while hanging out with friends or with a drink.” – (Unpossible_1)
