Iconic Leaf Recluse
Favorite Smoke of the Day

IPCPR 2013: Favorite Smoke of Day 1 – Emmett (rhetorik)

Iconic Leaf Recluse

I have been wanting to try this cigar for quite some time now. It has a very intriguing story and has been getting praise all around. The company was founded by two well-known cigar makers, who choose to remain anonymous and let their cigars speak for themselves, and I’m here to tell you, this stick is talking.
It goes through 8 fermentation cycles and sports a Brazillian Maduro wrapper. This maduro is unlike any other maduro I have ever had, with very unique earthy and floral notes in the first third of the cigar, and transitioning to a richer final third with some espresso and wood. This was the only cigar of the day I smoked the entire way thorough. The most notable thing about this cigar to myself and the guys I was with was the volume of smoke this thing put out. It was Liga Privada-esque in its production. Highly recommend. I personally give it an overall 93.
We were also able to get samples of their newest release, Draconian, and will have our thoughts on it in the days to come.
