Fratello Cigars is adding a new Gordo size to their relatively new Arlequin line. The Arlequin Gordo will measure 6 x 58 and is box pressed like the rest of the line. The other two regular production sizes in the line are the 5 ½ x 52 Robusto and 6 ½ x 54 Toro.
Arlequin made its debut in June of 2019 as a 6 x 50 Parejo inside the Space Fresh Pack. Once the blend was chosen to go full production, it was box-pressed and tweaked in blend and given new sizes and released in June 2020.
Arlequin Gordo is rolled at Joya de Nicaragua in Esteli. Retail price is $11 and comes in boxes of 20. The wrapper is a Mexican San Andres, then binder is Ecuador Habano, and the fillers are Peru and Nicaragua. It will ship September 2021.
