Altadis U.S.A. has announced a new cigar in the H. Upmann The Banker line that hasn’t seen an update in a few years. H. Upmann The Banker Daytrader was inspired by the modern world of banking. The cigar is scheduled to hit shelves on Tax Day, the brand is coining the collection of three vitolas as “a new money release.”
This introduction is part of our plan to expand The Banker line with small productions of specialty cigars from the renowned Grupo De Maestros, of Tabacalera de Garcia in the Dominican Republic. While the world of finance may have changed over time, there’s something that has always remained consistent for H. Upmann, and that is the certainty that being true to innovation means being true to the brand’s DNA.

The Banker Daytrader logo used on the product’s primary and secondary packaging references the candlestick charts commonly used by stock traders. This emotive pattern is featured on the secondary band over a striking shade of green – and as a central feature of the glossy 10-count laptop-shaped wooden box.
The blend uses an Ecuadorian wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. H. Upmann The Banker Daytrader comes in the following three vitolas: Robusto 54 x 4 ½ $13.49, Toro 54 x 6 $13.85, and Whale 60 x 6 $14.19.
