After launching a pre-release version of the cigar back in February of this year, Jake Wyatt is now prepping to release the regular production J.W. Maverick at this year's PCA trade show. There will be new sizes, including a Robusto (5×50) $9.00, Toro (6×54) $10.00 and a Box Pressed Gordo (6×60) $9.00, all coming in boxes of 22.
The blend for J.W. Maverick uses a San Andres wrapper, corojo binder, and fillers of Pennsylvania broadleaf, Criollo, and Piloto. The company says that this is the boldest and fullest cigar they have made to date. The new line will ship in August.
Jake Wyatt will also be releasing some new ashtrays during the show. More details to follow.
