Punch Rare Corojo annual trip to retail shelves on February 1st. Over 20 years ago, a shortage of the wrapper leaf used caused the blend to remain off shelves for a few years, then, Punch Rare Corojo was reintroduced in 2001 and became one of the first cigars on the market to see an annual release.
Punch Rare Corojo uses an Ecuadorian Rosado Sumatra wrapper grown only in limited quantity, these rare, reddish leaves give Punch Rare Corojo its unique taste. The rest of the blend uses a Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and Nicaraguan, Honduran and Dominican fillers. It is rolled at HATSA in Honduras. The line has nine vitolas that range in retail price from $7.19 to $10.19 per cigar. They are presented in Rare Corojo‘s signature bold red boxes.
