Cigar Info
Cigar Factory New Orleans was established in the city’s famous French Quarter District in 1999. The Owners of Cigar Factory New Orleans have been in the industry for 30 years, beginning in Las Vegas with Don Pablo Cigar Co, shortly thereafter opening the Cuban Cigar Factory in San Diego’s Gaslamp district, before returning the tradition of Cigar Making to The Big Easy.
The factory produces over 50,000 cigars per month between their two locations in The French Quarter. Cigar Factory New Orleans Cigars will be available in Retail Stores very soon. The main factory’s cigar museum houses the only known relics left from a bygone era of manufacturing in New Orleans from the late 1800′s.

Pre-light
Beautiful dark toothy brown wrapper. I pick up some deep woody notes on the body and Mocha chocolate and wood on the foot. I believe this is a Lonsdale in size.
First Third
After lighting up this cigar takes off with the awesome coffee note, now I am not well versed in the coffee world, but this some gourmet coffee i’m sure. There is a hint of wood and cinnamon in there as well. On the finish is a floral musty flavor that is really unique.
Second Third
No real change in the beginning of the second third. Lots of coffee notes, wood and cinnamon. On the finish there is still the weird floral element. Strength is a solid medium.
Final Third
So the strength has picked up a tad, I’d say it’s still a medium, but there is a bit of spice poking it’s head in now. I’ve decided this floral element is more of a patchouli……now I’m not saying it in a bad way like some infused cigars, but it it quite prominent and in your face.
Overall Impressions
I dug this cigar, there was a lot going on with it. I get patchouli, wood, chocolate and gourmet coffee flavors throughout the entire cigar. The draw was a little more snug than I like, but no complaints. It burned very well. I only needed to touch it up a couple of times. Really nice construction…the cigar burned cool and only ramped up in strength on the final 3rd.
