"Great cigar! Taste was excellent with an amazing burn. Hard to find anything wrong. The chocolate and earthiness was great. Just the right amount of bitterness to the chocolate flavors so it did not overpower the other flavors. I really enjoyed the raisins and dated in the first and second third. Cavalier Genève announced that their small batch Black II Lanceros are shipping to retailers in the United States. The blend for the Lanceros is the same as the regular Black II line, but a press release noted that the Lanceros are not box-pressed while the rest of the line is.
Cavalier Genève cigars has announced a branding update to their Black Series USA Exclusive. The cigars come in three sizes: Robusto, Toro and Double Corona. These will not feature gold and black footbands that have a new look. The boxes also received an update with a gold and black USA Exclusive diamond sticker on the lid. The blend remains the same and availablbilty will not be impacted at all. This new look will be shown off at IPCPR and will ship once the current stock is gone.
Cavalier Genève has announced that their LE2020 is now shipping to retailers and distributors. LE2020 (Limited Edition 2020) is limited to 1000 individually numbered by hand boxes. It comes in one viotla, a 6 x 54 Toro in boxes of 10. As usual, Sebastien Decoppet has not disclosed the blend for this release.
