"I have always been a fan of smaller ring gauge cigars. This little cigar was a treat. The flavors and how they were delivered were very good. This is a cigar I would reach for first thing in the morning or any time I want a flavorful cigar with minimal time to smoke. It is definitely a cigar that can be enjoyed by all, as it is very mild mannered in the strength department, while more medium full in flavor and body at the finish. I will be very curious to find out what cigar this is so they can be a permanent part of my collection." -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)

"Solid mild to medium cigar. The spice and pepper on the front and end of the cigar were nice. With the middle, a tad more mild and less pepper and more earth and coffee it did not overwhelm you like som peppery cigar will to some people. This should be a cigar to try on many people's list. "From start to finish this cigar was a winner in my opinion. The creaminess, the floral notes along with the fruity zest, and the leather note all worked well together. But man does that strength sneak up on you. This is definitely a cigar I'd try again. But not on an empty stomach. I'd give this a 'great'. Box worthy for sure. " -Kevin J. (maninblack77)

"Overall, a cigar with mixed feelings. While the first third was the best, the second third a bit boring, and the last third making a small gain on enjoyment, overall it was decent, enjoyable, but could have been better. Also notable was how long this cigar lasted, 90 minutes for me, and I am a quick smoker typically. While this was a smoke you’ll definitely want to try, my impressions from this sole sample have left me needing to try another to verify my thoughts." -John A. (Bostoneo)
The newly formed company, The Forged Cigar Company, owned by STG (parent company of General Cigar), recently announced that they will be selling the El Rey Del Mundo brand starting February. The Forged Cigar Company cigars will be sold only at brick and mortar shops.
"I absolutely adored this blend and I am anxiously awaiting to find out what it was so I can stock up. This is a very heavy spicy cigar that is full of both strength and flavor. The pepper was the superstar of the cigar so if you enjoy spice this is absolutely a stick you have to try. In the background, there were other supporting notes of earth, leather, mineral, and nutty flavors to help round the blend out. I ended up smoking this down to the nub until I just could not hold it anymore." -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)

"An extremely earthy and smoky cigar. If you are a fan a sticks with strong mineral and hickory style flavors this should be added to your list to try. While it's not exactly my preferred profile I definitely appreciated the layers of mineral, smoke, and hints of spice." -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)
