Quick Cigar Review: Sensei’s Sensational Sarsaparilla II

Full disclosure... I have been a member of Cigar Dojo for a few years now. As a result of my time on the Dojo app, I have made some great friends and learned a lot about this hobby that we all love so much. When the original Sarsaparilla cigar was released in the Fall of 2014, I was excited to try it because I was already a big fan of the cigars coming out of the La Zona factory from Erik Espinosa. The original Sarsaparilla cigar proved to be another winner, and I still consider that to be one of the best cigars to have ever been crafted at La Zona.

Blind Cigar Review: Maya Selva | Flor de Selva Maduro No. 15

"This was a fun cigar with interesting notes you won't find on your typical full-flavored stick. I'd recommend smoking this when you have some time to decipher the full range of flavors it offers - maybe not for the novice smoker. Quick Cigar Review: Undercrown | Dogma

I really dug the flavors I got right off the bat as well as the pepper that was there for the first inch or so. After everything mellowed out, it became a little less interesting. Slight transitions of creaminess went along with the wood. Not a bad cigar when wood was the dominant flavor, just not as desirable as the previous flavors.

"This smoke was right in my flavor wheelhouse. I enjoyed the mild and creamy start more than the darker finish, and the mid point was a perfect balance of the two. The cigar evolved enough to keep me interested, though never straying too far from its core flavor base. The Cigar Media Association, of which Blind Man's Puff is a member, is pleased to announce the 2014 Cigar Industry Award Winners. With the establishment of the Cigar Media Association in 2014, the 14 members involved in the association wanted to create an award ceremony where they could honor and celebrate the companies and individuals in the cigar industry. This marks the first time a collaborative effort among various brands of the cigar media have come together for such a process.

Cigar News: Cigar Dojo Announces Sarsaparilla Cigar

Sensei’s Sensational Sarsaparilla will be a limited run of 10-count bundles and sold online exclusively through Famous Smoke Shop in Pennsylvania. 10 pack bundles of Sarsaparilla will retail for $79.00 and will be available to the members of the CigarDojo app first in early November and then opened up to the general public shortly after.
