Blind Cigar Review: La Flor Dominicana | Air Bender Maduro Chisel

“I wanted to rate this cigar higher. The beginning and middle had some really nice flavors coming through. The smoke output on each draw was plentiful. The oily wrapper and chisel tip made it easy to smoke. All that, and then the final third hit a brick wall. Relights galore and harsh flavors just made the overall rating from me fall off a cliff. I would hope this stick was an anomaly in an otherwise solid blend. If I had stopped after the second third I would be happy.” -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)

Blind Cigar Review: J. Fuego | Connoisseur Originals

“This was a really nice cigar. After the first few draws, the cigar really picked up and the flavors came through. They were rich and full flavors that had a medium body and complexity. The cigar smoked well and was very easy by just lighting and going. I was initially worried about the look of this cigar, but it smoked quite well.” –Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

Blind Cigar Review: Dissident | Soap Box Rant

“I was pleasantly surprised by this cigar. I am a big fan of this vitola and this particular cigar is a great example of why. Without being overly strong, this blend likely benefited from some intensified flavors caused by the smaller ring gauge. I was impressed by the sweetness and spicy balance of this smoke for sure. I would definitely keep a few of these on hand for a lunch smoke or a quick after-dinner nightcap. I would recommend pairing this with a good black tea, as the flavors are quite complimentary.” -Ryan (Youngryan216)

Blind Cigar Review: Southern Draw | Firethorn Toro

“With a lot of cigars I find the cedar to be a bit heavy handed, not so with this one. The transition from a mature cedar to slightly charred then to a young sweeter one was very nice. The addition of hay, grass and leather paired well with the background flavors of nuts, coffee and cocoa. This cigar certainly offered me a very pleasant smoking experience.” -Gregg (McGreggor57)

Blind Cigar Review: Veritas | Three Blends

“The final third was the star for me with perfectly balanced flavors of sweet and savory. The initial third had me wondering if this was a spice bomb but the heat backed off just before the halfway mark. I appreciated the nice transition offered during the smoke. While not flavorful enough for a special occasion perhaps, I would definitely keep some on hand.” -Gregg (McGreggor57)

Blind Cigar Review: Don Lucas | Family Reserve Maduro

“This was just a beautiful cigar to look at and even hold in my hand. Looks alone this cigar would be killer. Unfortunately I had some draw issues on this one. Normally I would have taken the draw poker to it but since it was a review I wanted to smoke it as is. I did enjoy the flavors I got throughout they were just very muted and in the end became bitter. I would love to try this cigar again and hope for better construction.” -Zane G. (Zane)

“Ok…I like lonsdale and Lancero cigars but this was a very good cigar. It had depth of flavor and was very interesting. Construction was excellent, and the performance was really exemplary. I will gladly recommend this to anyone who is ready to move from mild to medium. Now to find out what it is so I can buy a box!” -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

Blind Cigar Review: Fable | Fourth Prime Doc

“This cigar, based on looks alone, was one that I was anticipating. The best part is that it didn’t disappoint. Fuller flavored. Fuller bodied. Just what I was expecting. The flavor of this cigar was spot on, for me, to the point that I was easily able to forgive the burn problems. I found that this cigar lighted to be smoked, and not set down to rest, which was fine because I didn’t want to put it down.” –Isaac M. (The Nothing)
