Blind Cigar Review: Villiger | San’Doro Claro Toro Revisited

“I am not a big fan of overly mild to mild-medium cigars. This one made me change my outlook. From the initial appearance and feel to the smoke throughout each third, this cigar was definitely one for everyone. Whether smoking in the morning with coffee, lunchtime with a soda or lemonade, or after dinner with some scotch or bourbon, this cigar will deliver a tremendous experience to enjoy. Grab these and just sit back and relax.” -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

Blind Cigar Review: La Aurora | 1962 Corojo Robusto

“Even though the final third was bitter and poor tasting, overall it was a good cigar. Not much in the way of flavors other than a nice woody taste and a wonderful campfire smell. The beginning had some nice spicy notes and a wonderful peppery tingle on the lips, but that did not last too long. In the end his would pair nicely with a good whiskey or even a string espresso.” -Eric (smalls29)

Blind Cigar Review: Fratello | Oro Robusto

“The beginning was very nice and enjoyable. The predominant flavors were wood and nuts. There were hints of sweet cherry wood and some earthy tones. The flavors remained nicely balanced up unto about the final third. At this point it became bitter and sour. I consider this one an old fashioned cigar. I think it would pair nicely with a scotch or spiced rum.” –Eric (smalls29)

Blind Cigar Review: HR | Claro 109

“This sample was not only a joy to look at but was also pleasant journey to smoke. This cigar presented creamy cedar, citrus, roasted nuts, sweet fruit, doughy bread, hay, and a touch of cinnamon. In addition to that.. through the nose was espresso, dark chocolate notes, hay, earth, and black pepper. If you have the time to smoke a cigar for 2+ hours grab a few of these, and however many hands this blend took to come to fruition was well worth the work.” -Matt C. (Big Matt)

Blind Cigar Review: H. Upmann | Yargüera Lonsdale

“Overall, this was a great cigar. The transitions were interesting, I loved the move from pepper and spice to rich and creamy. It’s not one that stands out as mind-blowing, but it was enjoyable throughout, and I would very much enjoy smoking more.” -Derek (StogieNinja)

Blind Cigar Review: Warped | Villa Sombra Mojitos

“Regardless of the chocolate flavors disappearing, this was still an enjoyable cigar. The entire experience was like drinking a mocha. You start off with wonderful flavors of semi sweet chocolate and coffee only to have the chocolate slowly fade away. Over time the coffee became stronger and in the end you are left with the bitter coffee flavor and after-taste. I would love to have this one again and smoke with a mocha or flavored latte.” -Eric (smalls29)

Blind Cigar Review: Toraño | Exodus Robusto (2016)

“This is a very good cigar that could be smoked after your son’s bar mitzvah or after you knock-out some asshole that drank you beer, I digress. Any cigar guy would enjoy this cigar as rich tobacco is very evident on the exhale and palate. The retro had a touch of sweetness that lingered with the cream and grass. That being said if you sit back and pay attention to this cigar you can pick up the nuances in this blend. This is a classic blend and I wouldn’t be surprised if the blender is a descendant of a family rich in tobacco and cigar culture. If the price is right, this premium cigar offering box-worthy.” -Matt C. (Big Matt)

Blind Cigar Review: Fable | Fourth Prime Doc

“This cigar, based on looks alone, was one that I was anticipating. The best part is that it didn’t disappoint. Fuller flavored. Fuller bodied. Just what I was expecting. The flavor of this cigar was spot on, for me, to the point that I was easily able to forgive the burn problems. I found that this cigar lighted to be smoked, and not set down to rest, which was fine because I didn’t want to put it down.” –Isaac M. (The Nothing)

Blind Cigar Review: La Flor Dominicana | Reserva Especial Belicoso

“I’ll start off by stating that I am not a fan of mild cigars…They generally just don’t keep my attention. This was an exception. The occasional flavor transitions, plus the excellent initial flavors were interesting and worthy of my time. This is something that I would highly recommend to any new smoker, of someone looking for a change of pace. Also, a perfect way to start a day. The reveal of this one will be interesting…. This cigar is one where the totality of the experience is greater than each of it’s parts…well done.” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
