Blind Cigar Review: Partagas | Heritage Robusto

“I really enjoyed this cigar. The flavors were plentiful and full and right in my wheelhouse. The aroma of this cigar is the reason I started to smoke cigars. Something about the smell reminded me of my childhood (I realize this sounds corny, but it is true). I will definitely be smoking more of these in the future and just hope the price tag is kind to the wallet.” -Adam B. (Bushboy)

“Dinner was done and the air was finally starting to cool when I went out to give this cigar a try. I was blown away initially by the huge flavors this cigar produced and I couldn’t have been luckier to have waited until early evening to smoke the cigar. It is quite intense, and I’m sure a lot of people would call it harsh. I couldn’t imagine smoking this earlier in the day.” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

“This was an excellent cigar, and one I may request before facing execution by a firing squad. Flavors, complexity, and construction are all on point. I believe this is a cigar that will stand up to multiple cigars a day as the flavors are bold and evident. I’ll be seeking these out if they are readily available in this exact vitola, no additional aging time is needed. Smoke this cigar after a salty fatty steak and thank me later.” -Matt C. (Big Matt)

“This cigar was, well, outstanding to me. This is something I could enjoy at any time and could even be something that I’d smoke very regularly. The flavors caught my attention at the beginning and the constant evolution kept me coming back for more. It was a surprisingly long smoking cigar with made it that much better.” -Isaac M. “This was one fantastic cigar! It smells like baked bread and a syrupy sweetness before even lighting it. Then when you light it you continue to get that sweetness along with some nuts, and oatmeal. This cigar would pair well with morning coffee, and I feel that this could be your 1st or even last smoke of the day. I want more!!!” -Mickey T. (irratebass)

“I am not a big fan of overly mild to mild-medium cigars. This one made me change my outlook. Whether smoking in the morning with coffee, lunchtime with a soda or lemonade, or after dinner with some scotch or bourbon, this cigar will deliver a tremendous experience to enjoy. Grab these and just sit back and relax.” -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

Blind Cigar Review: La Aurora | 1962 Corojo Robusto

“Even though the final third was bitter and poor tasting, overall it was a good cigar. Not much in the way of flavors other than a nice woody taste and a wonderful campfire smell. The beginning had some nice spicy notes and a wonderful peppery tingle on the lips, but that did not last too long. In the end his would pair nicely with a good whiskey or even a string espresso.” -Eric (smalls29)

Blind Cigar Review: Fratello | Oro Robusto

“The beginning was very nice and enjoyable. The predominant flavors were wood and nuts. There were hints of sweet cherry wood and some earthy tones. The flavors remained nicely balanced up unto about the final third. At this point it became bitter and sour. I consider this one an old fashioned cigar. I think it would pair nicely with a scotch or spiced rum.” –Eric (smalls29)

Blind Cigar Review: HR | Claro 109

“This sample was not only a joy to look at but was also pleasant journey to smoke. This cigar presented creamy cedar, citrus, roasted nuts, sweet fruit, doughy bread, hay, and a touch of cinnamon. In addition to that.. through the nose was espresso, dark chocolate notes, hay, earth, and black pepper. If you have the time to smoke a cigar for 2+ hours grab a few of these, and however many hands this blend took to come to fruition was well worth the work.” -Matt C. (Big Matt)
