Blind Cigar Review: Ohana | Friends & Family Corona Gorda

“This was a wonderful experience. The flavors were nice and constant and never strayed in to bitterness and yuck. The cedar flavor was there from begging to end. The best part was the slightly sweet taste left on the palate. The aroma was that of a cedar log burning in the fireplace that made this one even more enjoyable. Definitely one for the humidor. ” -Eric (smalls29)

“This was probably one of my most favorite reviews that I have done. I was dreading initially smoking this cigar only because of the vitola and amount of time I knew was required. However, as soon as the first third started and the flavor profile showed itself, I was hooked. Between the good balance of earth and barnyard, to the coffee and creamy finish, this cigar had an overall complexity that was second to none. You will need to block off a solid amount of time, but by no means will you be disappointed. This cigar will go well with coffee, libations, or a Pepsi. Enjoy these as much as possible.” -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

Blind Cigar Review: Nestor Miranda Collection | Corojo Coffee Break

“Even though this cigar was a mild/medium taste, the woody flavors had a nice balance throughout. There were flavors of oak and cherry wood with a nice campfire aroma coming from the smoke. The after-taste was not over powering and left a nice taste behind. Even though a bitter flavor showed, it did not come until almost at the end. Overall I am very pleased and would love to enjoy this one again.” -Eric (smalls29)

“Overall this was a pretty good smoke. The flavors were spicy and smokey and left a tingle on the palate. The restricted airflow hindered my opinion a touch but still not a bad cigar. The firmness of the cigar allowed me to chew on it a bit more than usual which i enjoyed. Aroma excellent throughout. ” -Adam B. (Bushboy)

“This is a very good cigar and it is very good because it is unique. The first half of the cigar exhibited oak, peat and moss and other very enjoyable flavors. The retro had a flirting chocolate and a cream kaboom in the 3/3. Age this cigar and dollars to donuts you’ll be rewarded. Dank flavor cigar. 88-90 right now. 90-92 with age potential. ” -Matt C. “This was an excellent cigar, and one I may request before facing execution by a firing squad. Flavors, complexity, and construction are all on point. I believe this is a cigar that will stand up to multiple cigars a day as the flavors are bold and evident. I’ll be seeking these out if they are readily available in this exact vitola, no additional aging time is needed. Smoke this cigar after a salty fatty steak and thank me later.” -Matt C. (Big Matt)

Blind Cigar Review: La Aurora | 1962 Corojo Robusto

“Even though the final third was bitter and poor tasting, overall it was a good cigar. Not much in the way of flavors other than a nice woody taste and a wonderful campfire smell. The beginning had some nice spicy notes and a wonderful peppery tingle on the lips, but that did not last too long. In the end his would pair nicely with a good whiskey or even a string espresso.” -Eric (smalls29)
