"Overall this cigar was very mild, very smooth, very one dimensional. No pepper spice at anywhere during the smoke. There are some people out there that like a super mild, no spice Connecticut. "I really enjoyed this compact cigar. It had a great construction and build and felt really smooth. The profile was complex and had a nice balance of cedar, hay, and pepper. "I find myself enjoying this more while reflecting back on it. The flavor profile was a very traditional style Nicaraguan with tobacco, cedar, leather, and pepper but it all worked very well when taken as a whole. The retrohale provided a bit of a break from the draw and even though the draw was a bit tight it was a good cigar for what it was. It's not a game changing cigar but it's a solid smoke and certainly worth your time. " -Alan (Eulogy)

"This was probably one of my most favorite reviews that I have done. I was dreading initially smoking this cigar only because of the vitola and amount of time I knew was required. However, as soon as the first third started and the flavor profile showed itself, I was hooked. Between the good balance of earth and barnyard, to the coffee and creamy finish, this cigar had an overall complexity that was second to none. You will need to block off a solid amount of time, but by no means will you be disappointed. This cigar will go well with coffee, libations, or a Pepsi. "This one ran the spectrum of boldness. It started out with a medium bold taste that grew very bold and biter and then became mild in the final third. I was happy with the consistent flavors of wood and nut throughout which helped maintain some of the enjoyment of this smoke. The second third saw some bitterness come in but it wasn't so bitter that I wanted to out it down. I was surprised by how it mellowed towards the end.
