"As a whole, this cigar was a very pleasant wine and crackers smoke. The initial cocoa and finish of the leather notes was very enjoyable. Most things about this cigar had high end status about them. "I find myself enjoying this more while reflecting back on it. The flavor profile was a very traditional style Nicaraguan with tobacco, cedar, leather, and pepper but it all worked very well when taken as a whole. The retrohale provided a bit of a break from the draw and even though the draw was a bit tight it was a good cigar for what it was. "If you are looking for a powerhouse cigar that offers sweet undertones and a smooth, crisp retrohale, this is for you. Definitely not for the weak at heart. This cigar is everything a smoker who enjoys full flavored smokes could ask for. Ready to smoke right when I got it, this cigar needs little rest to allow it to fully mature into an after dinner delight. "Overall, this was a very pleasant experience except for a slight muddling of flavors in the final third. There was a good mix of flavors and transitions and there was also some bitterness in the final third that was slightly detracting. I think this needs some more rest time before the next try. From the initial appearance and feel to the smoke throughout each third, this cigar was definitely one for everyone. "Never judge a cigar by the wrapper. Based on my initial observations, I would have skipped over grabbing this cigar. The flavors, however, were very well balanced and offered a nice smoke.
