Blind Cigar Review: Macanudo | Inspirado Red Robusto

“If you could roll up an espresso stout into a cigar, it would probably be a lot like this one. Cocoa nibs and coffee permeated the cigar from start to finish, with little else going on other than an increase of body. The flavors were good, but there was little to keep me interested for long.” –Isaac M. (The Nothing)

“Overall this was a pretty good smoke. The flavors were spicy and smokey and left a tingle on the palate. The restricted airflow hindered my opinion a touch but still not a bad cigar. The firmness of the cigar allowed me to chew on it a bit more than usual which i enjoyed. Aroma excellent throughout. ” -Adam B. (Bushboy)

Blind Cigar Review: Home Roll | Mischievous Marshmallow

“Off the bat I enjoyed the sweetness and pepper flavors. The way they played off each other was enjoyable. I also enjoyed how the sweetness was like a glaze on my lips. While smoking the cigar, looking at the cigar, it was ok and was not wowed by how the cigar looked. I had to touch up the cigar and had to relight it twice throughout the smoke. As much as enjoyed the flavors in the first two thirds, the last third wrecked the experience for me. The way the cigar was constructed it burned my tongue and all the flavor were bitter. It left my mouth feeling like I smoked five cigars back to back.” -Daniel S. (Daniel S.)

“This was a great cigar. All of the favors really stood out and were crisp and clean. The profile changes happened often enough that I never got bored and was always looking forward to the next third. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a medium-full cigar with a lot of character. ” -Jeff (ExpendableYouth)

“I loved it. I should probably say more I guess. I didn’t have to fight with this cigar, and it gave me some flavors that were pleasant, unique, and very compatible. It also kept me interested when the profile would transition and show me something new. Combine that with a smooth retrohale and a great burn and I am happy.” -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)
