Blind Cigar Review: Jeremy Jack | JJ14 Corona Gorda

“In the beginning I was quite impressed with this cigar and enjoyed it thoroughly. In fact, I had a hard time putting this cigar down for long. However, it didn’t finish well. My hope is that this was a one off as I would definitely try it again if others had a different experience. I so enjoyed the first two thirds of the cigar so much, that I’m probably scoring this cigar a little high overall. ” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

“Good smoke. For someone who enjoys milder cigars that aren’t tremendously challenging, this would be a nice cigar. Construction was on point aside from some initial draw concerns.
Flavor wise it wasn’t a big show, but if you like nice flowery cigars, this is definitely one. Probably wouldn’t be bad with coffee on a Sunday morning.” -John I. (John I.)

“This was a not a flavor profile that fit my wheelhouse. Having said that, for someone who likes hazelnut and some black licorice this will be a decent cigar for them. I didn’t like the bitterness of the cigar but it did progress into a tartness that wasn’t distasteful to me. I would have thought the cigar would be stronger than it was given the types of flavors but it remained a medium to full, on the more medium side for me. A decent smoke for a specific palette.” –Diana (ArmyRN)

“Great smoke. Amazing construction which has definitely contributed to the experience. Deep rich leather and nuttiness on bold display here. It’s a flavor profile that I enjoyed a lot although there wasn’t a lot of transitional stuff going on. I’d be happy to smoke these by the truckload, and I’d nub them every time. ” -John I. (John I.)

“I tend toward fuller bodied cigars generally, and much smaller vitolas as a rule, but I enjoyed the hell out of this beast for the full ride. I lit this late on a Saturday morning, and it paired wonderfully with a couple extra cups of dark roasted coffee well into the early afternoon. I’d strongly suggest that you do likewise. ” -John I. “It’s hard for me to assign a top rating to any cigar, and I try to reserve the highest mark for something really wondrous. This is about as close to cigar perfection for me as I can imagine. Big bold flavors with a lot of strength. Packs a punch but the potency was never over the top and the overall balance between strength and flavor was really thoroughly impressive. ” -John I. “Man, this was a fun cigar. I have to blame myself for the performance at the beginning, even if it did feel and look ok. Once I gave it the deeper cut, this cigar was awesome. The savory flavors kept me attached the whole way through. There was a lot more complexity in the first third that seemed to tone down through the rest of the cigar; I really wish it just kept going. ” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)
