Blind Cigar Review: Espinosa | Reggae DREAD Score 90%

Blind Cigar Review: Espinosa | Reggae DREAD

“This is a damn good cigar. It was slightly milder than I typically prefer but the interesting mix of flavors kept my attention and didn’t leave me wanting more. I’d recommend this to anyone who likes a cigar that is just south of medium strength and would also have no issues handing one to my friends who seldom smoke. This one is worthy of smoking to the nub and is worthy of a place in my humidor.” -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)

Blind Cigar Review: HR | Blue Petite Edmundo

“Really good cigar. Solid core flavors, great initial flavor blast from the closed foot, and some interesting transitions along the way. There were a few minor construction issues, it wasn’t tremendously nuanced and it got a little flat toward the end, but there’s still good stuff happening here. I’d smoke a ton of these. ” -John I. Blind Cigar Review: Man O’ War | Ruination Robusto No. 1

“This is a very good cigar and it is very good because it is unique. The first half of the cigar exhibited oak, peat and moss and other very enjoyable flavors. The retro had a flirting chocolate and a cream kaboom in the 3/3. Age this cigar and dollars to donuts you’ll be rewarded. Dank flavor cigar. 88-90 right now. 90-92 with age potential. ” -Matt C. Blind Cigar Review: Dunhill | Aged Maduro Short Robusto Score 90%

Blind Cigar Review: Dunhill | Aged Maduro Short Robusto

“This is a fairly short-lived cigar, easy smoking in under an hour, and probably just over a half hour smoke for most people. Each third had a distinct change of flavors that could easily be detected without looking. I found myself enjoying this one, a lot. But, it could use some glue. The tendency for the wrapper to unravel kept me distracted and, ultimately forced me to score the cigar lower than I would have liked based on flavor alone. That said, I’d give it another go in hopes that it’d stay together.” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

Blind Cigar Review: Partagas | Heritage Robusto

“I really enjoyed this cigar. The flavors were plentiful and full and right in my wheelhouse. The aroma of this cigar is the reason I started to smoke cigars. Something about the smell reminded me of my childhood (I realize this sounds corny, but it is true). I will definitely be smoking more of these in the future and just hope the price tag is kind to the wallet.” -Adam B. (Bushboy)

Blind Cigar Review: Cornelius & Anthony | Meridian Robusto

“Dinner was done and the air was finally starting to cool when I went out to give this cigar a try. I was blown away initially by the huge flavors this cigar produced and I couldn’t have been luckier to have waited until early evening to smoke the cigar. It is quite intense, and I’m sure a lot of people would call it harsh. I couldn’t imagine smoking this earlier in the day.” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

“This cigar was, well, outstanding to me. This is something I could enjoy at any time and could even be something that I’d smoke very regularly. The flavors caught my attention at the beginning and the constant evolution kept me coming back for more. It was a surprisingly long smoking cigar with made it that much better.” -Isaac M. Blind Cigar Review: Southern Draw | Rose of Sharon Toro

“This was one fantastic cigar! It smells like baked bread and a syrupy sweetness before even lighting it. Then when you light it you continue to get that sweetness along with some nuts, and oatmeal. This cigar would pair well with morning coffee, and I feel that this could be your 1st or even last smoke of the day. I want more!!!” -Mickey T. (irratebass)

Blind Cigar Review: Don Lucas | Family Reserve Maduro

“This was just a beautiful cigar to look at and even hold in my hand. Looks alone this cigar would be killer. Unfortunately I had some draw issues on this one. Normally I would have taken the draw poker to it but since it was a review I wanted to smoke it as is. I did enjoy the flavors I got throughout they were just very muted and in the end became bitter. I would love to try this cigar again and hope for better construction.” -Zane G. (Zane)

Blind Cigar Review: Fable | Fourth Prime Doc

“This cigar, based on looks alone, was one that I was anticipating. The best part is that it didn’t disappoint. Fuller flavored. Fuller bodied. Just what I was expecting. The flavor of this cigar was spot on, for me, to the point that I was easily able to forgive the burn problems. I found that this cigar lighted to be smoked, and not set down to rest, which was fine because I didn’t want to put it down.” –Isaac M. (The Nothing)

Blind Cigar Review: La Flor Dominicana | Reserva Especial Belicoso

“I’ll start off by stating that I am not a fan of mild cigars…They generally just don’t keep my attention. This was an exception. The occasional flavor transitions, plus the excellent initial flavors were interesting and worthy of my time. This is something that I would highly recommend to any new smoker, of someone looking for a change of pace. Also, a perfect way to start a day. The reveal of this one will be interesting…. This cigar is one where the totality of the experience is greater than each of it’s parts…well done.” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
