Overall the Emilio Papa Joe is an extremely pleasant smooth smoke with just enough spice for those who enjoy that in a cigar. It is also overall a nice smooth smoke with cedar, baking spices and pepper spice on the retro that it can be enjoyed as your first cigar of the day with coffee or as an everyday smoke at any time of day. It is a very nice addition to the Emilio portfolio by Fabrica Oveja Negra.
" The Cigar was so delicious out the gate. However, the lack of complexity and linear flavor profile of the Cigar could easily bore most people. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors the tobacco provided as it was very delicious and the construction, burn and especially the draw was a top notch. A good cigar if you don’t want to be thrilled but enjoy a nice moderately peppery sweet smoke. " -John A. (John A.)

"This cigar was mediocre in my opinion. There was not much complexity. Smooth notes of spice and hay were the cornerstones, but the char crept in and took over through the second and final third of the cigar. A little age might do this cigar some good, so do not give up entirely on this stick. It might grow into something very good." -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)

"I really enjoyed the richness of the coffee and oak during the first third and wished they would have held on a little more. The final two thirds gradually ramped the fullness down and transformed the smoke into a milder sweeter profile. I'm glad I grabbed this one for a morning cigar." -Gregg (McGreggor57)
