Espinosa Premium Cigars announced today the re-release of their 601 Black. This time it is coming in only one size, a toro. The original 601 Black was one of the first full-bodied Connecticut wrapped cigars on the market in the early 2000’s. It hasn't been seen in nearly 10 years. A new version was featured at the “2020 La Zona Palooza Virtual Event" and due to the reaction from event attendees chose to make it a full-release.
"This cigar was a real treat. Exceptional flavors throughout, with subtle transitions. Even at the end of the final third, flavors were still a delight, with no heat or bitterness. I would smoke this cigar over and over." -Randy B. (randobush)

Espinosa Premium Cigars has announced that their planned La Zona Palooza Event scheduled for November will be virtual due to COVID-19 concerns. The company released this statement:
"Bold and well balanced. There were some nice shifts, and enough complexity to keep it interesting through the end. I could easily smoke this again, though I would go for a little more food in the stomach, as it was fairly strong by the end." -Chris M. (Chris)

·"This was likely the most challenging overall rating I've had to give since joining the team. The middle third was simply one of the best 30 minutes of cigar I've smoked this year. The unique, potent, balanced flavors were playing in perfect harmony and every puff somehow seemed to improve upon its predecessor. Unfortunately the first and final third underwhelmed. They certainly weren't bad, just subtle to the point of unnoticeable. So, would I smoke this again? 100% yes. In fact I'm dying to know: was the middle third an anomaly? Was the burn line issue a one-off? If there's even the slimmest chance I could experience, for a full 90 minutes, what I experienced at the halfway transition mark, I'd dedicate an entire shelf in my cabinet to these beauties." -Vance T. Back in November of 2017, Blind Man's Puff published the blind panel review of the Protocol Themis by Cubariqueño Cigar Co. The cigar was a hit with our panelists, scoring a 91 averaged across the 5 panelists who reviewed it. Now, to continue that line, they are introducing this tasty cigar in a fan-favorite Lancero vitola. This new cigar will be officially introduced next month at the 2018 IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas.
Erik Espinosa of Espinosa Cigars, has announced the release of a new cigar line, the Espinosa Especial. "It's a new line, a new blend, a new cigar, but it’s everything you have come to expect from Espinosa Cigars and La Zona", said Erik.

·"Even though there were some minor burn issues and the cigar started out with a bit of a tight draw, it was absolutely great to smoke. The flavors were simply outstanding. Perfectly melded together, with nice subtle transitions in the profile every couple of inches into the smoke. I'm ready to see the reveal on this one so I can go out and buy a box!" -Dave (mdwest)
