Up until now, Ferio Tego’s new cigars (not originally Nat Sherman) were limited to annual limited releases, Elegancia and Generoso. Now, the company has announced their first core line under the flagship brand, Ferio Tego Summa.
Ferio Tego is gradually rolling out the legacy Nat Sherman brands, and now the latest to make it back on the market are the Timeless Panamericana and Timeless Supreme. These releases follow the release of the Timeless Sterling and Prestige in September 2021, and the brand new Generoso and Elegancia lines last month. These latest additions will land in stores November 18, 2021.
Ferio Tego has announced the return of their flagship lines, Elegancia and Generoso, for 2022. Both cigars will be in the same blends and sizes as their 2021 launch counterparts. Both cigars measure 6 x 50 in a toro size and come in custom, hand-made travel humidors of ten cigars. The humidors come with humidity control packs built into the lower compartment. The Ferio Tego Generoso made #9 on our Top 25 Cigars of 2021 list.
"The general consensus on this cigar is astoundingly good as it checked off almost all of boxes. The construction, burn, and draw were all perfect which made for an ideal smoking experience as I did not have to babysit or put any effort into smoking. The cigar absolutely shined throughout the first two-thirds with a cadence of flavors I've yet to experience together and was not only unique but most of all quite enjoyable. Had the final third not offered such an abrupt change in flavors I would have smoked this cigar down to a nub. Once its identity is revealed I will absolutely seek it out for another round. Should the ending be rewritten I could even see this cigar being a regular in my humidor." -Noah S. (Noah)
Ferio Tego is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Timeless Collection with a Limited Edition Release. The original Nat Sherman Timeless launched in 2012. It was the first blend that Michael Herklots created and launched from start to finish, so it has a special place in his heart. The Ferio Tego Timeless 10 Years will come in just one size, a Robusto Grande that measures 5.75” x 54. It will come in 10-count boxes, of which there were only 2,500 made. The cigar is rolled by Quesada Cigars in the Dominican Republic. The blend uses a Dominican wrapper, Dominican binder, and Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers.
Michael Herklots, former Vice President of Nat Sherman, is teaming up with Brendon Scott, former Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Nat Sherman, to launch a new company Ferio Tego, LLC. This new company has prurchased the brands from Altria the owner of the Nat Sherman brand and will bring back the brands of the now defunct Nat Sherman company to market. The lines will no longer have the Nat Sherman name, they will simply be called Timeless, Metropolitan, Epoca, Host, etc.

The upcoming cigars form Michael Herklots' Ferio Tego will feature a new technology from Humidifgroup. This new smart packaging uses an NFC chip to allow the consumer to quickly scan the packaging and be provided with cigar information, videos and education content. HumidifGroup is the first to use this technology in their boxes, but other companies have starting using similar technology such as Plasencia's NFC chip in their bands, and Oliva's QR codes. Ferio Tego is the first to use this technology from HumidifGroup but they will be expanding to other brand in the near future.
