Ferio Tego has announced the return of their flagship lines, Elegancia and Generoso, for 2022. Both cigars will be in the same blends and sizes as their 2021 launch counterparts. Both cigars measure 6 x 50 in a toro size and come in custom, hand-made travel humidors of ten cigars. The humidors come with humidity control packs built into the lower compartment. The Ferio Tego Generoso made #9 on our Top 25 Cigars of 2021 list.
"While milder than I tend to reach for, this cigar is quite satisfying. The sum of its parts, in the end, is better than each individual third. The aroma of this cigar is great and would likely not drive away someone otherwise opposed to cigar smoke. It will certainly raise questions from anyone passing by at the lounge. I do wish it could handle maintaining flavors whenever I put the cigar down for a rest. The frequency of puffing required makes this a pretty quick-burning cigar. I might not make this a regular smoke, but it is quite enjoyable" -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

The upcoming cigars form Michael Herklots' Ferio Tego will feature a new technology from Humidifgroup. This new smart packaging uses an NFC chip to allow the consumer to quickly scan the packaging and be provided with cigar information, videos and education content. HumidifGroup is the first to use this technology in their boxes, but other companies have starting using similar technology such as Plasencia's NFC chip in their bands, and Oliva's QR codes. Ferio Tego is the first to use this technology from HumidifGroup but they will be expanding to other brand in the near future.
Michael Herklots, former Vice President of Nat Sherman, is teaming up with Brendon Scott, former Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Nat Sherman, to launch a new company Ferio Tego, LLC. "The general consensus on this cigar is astoundingly good as it checked off almost all of boxes. The construction, burn, and draw were all perfect which made for an ideal smoking experience as I did not have to babysit or put any effort into smoking. The cigar absolutely shined throughout the first two-thirds with a cadence of flavors I've yet to experience together and was not only unique but most of all quite enjoyable. Had the final third not offered such an abrupt change in flavors I would have smoked this cigar down to a nub. Once its identity is revealed I will absolutely seek it out for another round. Should the ending be rewritten I could even see this cigar being a regular in my humidor." -Noah S. (Noah)
