Crowned Heads has announced that their annual Hawaii-exclusive cigar, Paniolo Especiale, will make its return on October 7 at a special VIP Dinner Event hosted by Marvin Chang and R. Field Wine Co. in Honolulu Hawaii.
For the second year in a row, Crowned Heads is partnering with Drew Estate for their annual "Paniolo Especiale" Limited Edition cigar. This is an exclusive to the state of Hawaii. Paniolo Especiale 2020 is rolled at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Esteli, Nicaragua and is a corona gorda measuring 5 3/4 x 46. The blend is similar to last years using a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Mexican San Andres binder, and filers from Nicaragua, and Dominican Republic, but this year features tobacco from Brazil. The Paniolo Especiale 2020 comes in boxes of 10 and have the same price of $9.80. Production is smaller this year at 5,000 cigars compared to 4,000 in 2019.
The 2018 Paniolo Especial is being produced at My Father Cigars S.A. in Esteli, Nicaragua. It is a 5.5 x 48 Super Corona, a vitola that was inspired by the Bolivar Super Coronas EL 2014 (Cuba). The Paniolo Especial 2018 features binder and filler leaves from Nicaragua and a San Andres wrapper leaf from Mexico. The cigar will be priced at $8.90 per cigar and available in 12-count boxes. Production is limited to 500 boxes, total.
Crowned Heads Paniolo is making a comeback for the first time since 2019. Originally released in 2015, this Hawaii exclusive is made by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo and Tabacalera La Alianza. The Paniolo Especiale 2022 comes in one size, a robusto extra that measures 51/4 x 52
Crowned Heads has joined with FITTED to bring you a limited edition series of Paniolo Kamehameha New Era 9Fifty cap. In total, production of these caps will be limited to only 144 pieces. The caps will feature a crown woven from black Lauhala fabric, top visor of black denim, a Tri-Laka patterned under visor, and a PU leather accent embossed with the FITTED Kamehameha logo. They will make their debut at the launch event for the 2018 Paniolo. This event will take place at The Prince Waikiki Hotel in Honolulu on February 23rd, 2018.
