Drew Estate is now shipping its TAA Exclusive version of the Herrera Esteli brand to retailers. This is the same cigar that the company shipped in 2016 for TAA retailers.
Drew Estate has announced the nationwide launch of its Herrera Esteli Connecticut Broadleaf Lancero. This blend, called Tienda Exclusiva had made appearances previously as a TAA exclusive in 2016 and 2020, but under different vitolas. This same cigar, vitola included, was also a store exclusive for STOGIES World Class Cigar in 2016 as a part of their H-TOWN lancero series. Now, this cigar will be available to all Drew Diplomat retailers. It will be showcased on the upcoming Freestyle Live: Special Edition hosted on facebook.com/drewestatecigar on June 11th from 7:00-9:00pm EST.

Before embarking on the major restoration of their El Reloj Cigar Factory in Tampa, the J.C. Newman team had to clear out almost 70 years' worth of items from the building. During this process, they uncovered some unexpected hidden treasures. Some of these include a trap door from the 1930s with a secret staircase, J.C.'s travel trunk, and a stash of 10-year-old Brick House cigars that were tucked away in the basement. The latter is the premise for this TAA cigar.

"I was sold from from first puff. Love a good closed foot that gives a quick reveal of the wrapper flavor at first light. This cigar has nice and subtle transitions. It does change, but not much. Diesel Cigars has announced a new cigar exclusive to TAA retailers called Disciple. Like all other Diesel cigars, this one is blended by AJ Fernandez and rolled at his factory Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Estelí, Nicaragua. This is a collaboration between AJ and General Cigar’s Justin Andrews. Disciple will be distributed by The Forged Cigar Company.
The Tobacconists' Association of America (TAA) confirmed today that they will have a special in-person 2021 convention in the Fall since they had to move to a virtual event for their normal Spring meeting due to COVID. The special Fall convention will be held October 24 - October 28. This will give retail members back buying opportunities they may have missed. TAA also announced that they will be resuming their normal convention schedule starting in Spring 2022.
Atonement is the latest collaboration between AJ Fernandez and STG's Justin Andrews, this time once again on the Diesel brand. The latest release is called Diesel Atonement and is described as an "unapologetically-bold, limited-edition." The cigar is exclusive to retail TAA members.
