Vicarias Cigars has announced the release of the Red Label Edicion Limitada. This new cigar came about because of the supply chain issues surrounding the global pandemic. The company could not get the Brazilian Cubra wrapper leaf used in the original Red Label so they came up with a new blend.
Luis Cuevas, Sr., recommended the new Ecuador Habano wrapper used in this new edition. The cigar, along with the original, is rolled at the Cuevas family factory Tabacalera Las Lavas factory in the Dominican Republic. The rest of the blend remains the same, a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder with Dominican Piloto Cubano, Pennsylvania Broadleaf and Jalapa Ligero filler.
The company said in a press released that the new blend may become either a permanent addition to the Vicarias portfolio or an annual special edition release. Like the original Red Label, the Edicion Limitada is comes in just one size, a 6 x 54 Toro. It is available immediately to retailers and carries an MSRP of $9.30.
