Cubariqueño Cigar Co. has announced their fourth regular production cigar: Protocol Official Misconduct. Like all other Protocol cigar, they are being rolled at La Zona in Esteli. This will be initially available in one size, a 6 x 50 toro in boxes of 10 priced at $98.90 for the box. Official Misconduct carries on the tradition of Law Enforcement names for their cigars as owners Juan Cancel and Bill Ives are polices officers.
The blend uses an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Esteli and Jalapa. The company describes them as a medium plus in strength. The new blend will get an initial release at the companies 3 anniverary party on on May 12th at the Holiday Inn located in Clinton, New Jersey. Sales will be through Berkeley Humidor and pre-sales will also be available through BerkeleyHumidor.com. They will ship to the rest of retailers May 15th and will be shown at IPCPR.
Cubariqueno also announced a line extension to their Probably Cause cigar. This is a corona gorda 5 5/8 – 46 in boxes of 10 and will also be available at the anniversary party and shipping May 15. It will sell for 97.90 per box.
