Fratello Cigars has announced a new cigar today, the Fratello Arlequin Prensado. A preview was given for this blend in June 2019 with the Space Fresh Packs along with Sorella and Arlequin, Fratello Classico, and Fratello Bianco II all in a new 6 x 50 format. The idea was that consumers would give feedback and tell the company their preference for either the Sorella or Arlequin.
“We had an overwhelming response to our market research. We had people form all over the world submitting their preferred smoke. I was so impressed with the data, as different countries and demographics would be favor one blend over the other.” Said de Frias.
Fratello Arlequin will have the same blend as presented in the Fresh Pack, but a slightly different look. It will debut in 2 box-pressed vitolas, a 5 ½ x 52 Robusto and a 6 ½ x 54 Toro. Each come in boxes of 20 and will sell for $9.50 the Robusto and $10.50 for Toro. Arlequin is rolled at Fabrica de Tabacos Joya de Nicaragua S.A., in Esteli, Nicaragua. The blend uses a San Andres Mexico wrapper, Ecuador Habano binder, and filler from Peru and Nicaragua. Arlequin ships September 2020.
