Alec Bradley Cigar Co. has announced the ‘Taste of the World Chunk’ Sampler just in time for fathers day. 2,000 total samplers will be made available for purchase. These collectable 8-count boxes are finished in a luxurious high-gloss blue lacquer. In this collection, you will find 2 “Chunk” sized cigars each of the sampler exclusive ‘Gatekeeper’ and ‘Kintsugi’ with the Canadian exclusive ‘Black Market,’ and global release ‘Magic Toast.’ All Alec Bradley Chunk cigars measure in at a short and stout 4 1/4″ X 60 ring gauge, previously unreleased sizes in the in the Gatekeeper and Kintsugi blends.
Alec and Bradley Rubin secretly created the Chunk sampler as a gift for their father, Alec Bradley founder, Alan Rubin. Pairing two lines from their portfolio with two lines from their father’s portfolio, the brothers expanded upon the Chunk sampler concept, creating a gift item to be shared amongst adult children, their fathers and father figures.
The Chunk’s size and shape arguably make it the ‘dad bod’ of cigars. The sampler was a huge hit with our dad, so we decided to produce them for other families to experience the same joy we did.

Alan Rubin founded Alec Bradley Cigar Co. in 1996, naming the company after his two children, Aleb & Bradley Rubin. Throughout the years, he’s celebrated a multitude of achievements, including a coveted Cigar Aficionado #1 “Cigar of the Year” award for the Prensado Churchill. However, Rubin says his greatest success as a business owner and dad came when his sons decided to join him on his journey in the premium cigar business.
As a dad, I couldn’t be prouder of what Alec and Bradley have achieved. I was elated when they presented me with the Chunk sampler, and I’m honored that we can share these eight special cigar moments with other families.

Alec Bradley is pre-selling the 2000 ‘Taste of the World Chunk’ samplers to appointed tobacconists now, for delivery toward the end of May. MSRP has been set to $74.95 per sampler. ‘Taste of the World Chunk’ samplers are exclusive to the US market. The cigars use the same blends and factories as their regular production cousins.
