Black Label Trading Company (BLTC) will be showing off its latest offering, Orthodox, at the PCA tradeshow in Las Vegas. This exclusive small batch release, handcrafted at the renowned Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua, will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis to retailers attending the event, with shipping slated for the end of April.
With Orthodox, we’re touching base with our origins. Over a decade, we’ve explored extensively, but our essence has always been about emphasizing the robust nature and intensity of Nicaraguan tobacco. Orthodox is exactly that—bold. It’s a cigar that commands your attention with a spice that’s pervasive on both the palate and nose, yet it achieves a harmonious balance with undertones of dark fruits, cherries, and raisins, culminating in a star anise finish. It’s not just potent; it’s nuanced and incredibly intricate.

The Orthodox cigar promises to deliver a deeply satisfying smoking experience with its meticulously selected blend of tobaccos. The construction features a dark and alluring Mexican San Andrés wrapper, paired with an Ecuador Habano binder, and filled with the finest Nicaraguan leaves. The cigars will be available in three sizes: a 5.75×50 Toro, a 5×46 Corona Gorda, and a 4.5×52 Short Robusto, each presented in 20 count boxes with MSRP’s ranging from $12.50 to $13.00.
