Royal Agio Cigars USA announced a new line in June of last year, San Pedro de Macorís. It was meant to be a more affordable option to their Balmoral line and when it first came out was offered in two different blends: Ecuador, and Brazil. The Ecuador has an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper and the Brazil has a sun-grown Brazilian Arapiraca. In February of this year, Royal Agio announced the addition of two new extensions to the San Pedro de Macorís line, Nicaragua and Sun Grown. The Nicaragua uses a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper while the Sun Grown uses a sun-grown Ecuador Habano wrapper. Today we will be reviewing the San Pedro De Macoris | BrazilRobusto.

“Nice mahogany tone. Small, but obvious veins, while the seams are just barely noticeable. Just a bit of tooth and a nice cap.” –Isaac M. (The Nothing)

“There was an immediate coffee flavor that progressed quickly with the addition of sweet cream. The flavor notes transitioned into a nice lightly baked cinnamon roll with a hint of white pepper interspersed.” –Diana (ArmyRN)
Second Third
Flavor: 94 Strength: Medium Body/Complexity: Medium
“More of the same but perhaps less of the earthiness and more of the milk chocolate flavors. This baby is performing beautifully. Burn line continues to be straight and ash holds on for a little over an inch. Not overly complex but so far it works for me. ” –Kevin J. (maninblack77)
“Much of the same into the second portion of this cigar with one really nice addition of toasted almond that complimented the leather and spice nicely. Really nice at this point.” –Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
with this cigar. The flavors remain intact and present as a rich, full-bodied kitchen, coffee, cream mix.” –Diana (ArmyRN)
“Some white pepper appears in the final third but the milk chocolate continues to make itself known.
Creamy and absolutely delicious. Had to nub this bad boy. ” –Kevin J. (maninblack77)

“This cigar was quite interesting and it’s various flavors were made of stuff that I wouldn’t normally put together. It was quite nice, burned very well, and made me very happy that I already had a steak dinner planned for tonight.” –Isaac M. (The Nothing)
