Diesel is releasing a limited-edition version of its Hair of the Dog line this month. This cigar was created by AJ Fernandez with the help of brand manager Justin Andrews at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Esteli, Nicaragua. The fillers are made entirely of Nicaraguan Habano, while the wrapper is an Ecuadoran Habano, and binder Ecuadoran Sumatra. The regular Hair of the Dog line is a Cigars International exclusive that has been around since 2013.

Crowned Heads announced today an exclusive limited edition cigar, Sanctuary, for Smokers Abbey. Smokers Abbey is based out of Nashville, TN and focuses on boutique cigars. Like many other Crowned Heads releases, this cigar is made at EP Carrillo's La Alianza S.A. factory in Dominican Republic. The cigar is a trunk pressed Genios vitola that measures 5.5" x 52. The blend uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, and Nicaraguan binder and fillers. Production is limited to 333 boxes of 12.

Drew Estate will show off a new vitola of ACID cigars at the 2019 TAA Trade show March 17-21st in Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic. This release is part of the 20th anniversary of ACID. The Plus joins Extra Ordinary Larry (6 x 60), Roam (7 x 48), C-notes (3.75 x 20 small cigars), Krush Morado (4 x 32), Croqueta (2.5 x 50) in the Purple line.
Ventura Cigar Company announced today a new line extension in the PSyKo SEVEN series: PSyKo SEVEN Nicaragua. This cigar is blended by Indiana Ortez daughter of tobacco industry legend Omar Ortez. Indiana Ortez is also the blender of the Ventura Cigar’s Fathers, Friends, and Fire limited edition cigar. The cigar will debut at TAA 2019.
The name comes from an old Cuban factory named “La Meridiana”. It was owned by Pedro Murias, and was once one of the largest and cigar factories in Havana at the end of the 19th century. During the Cuban civil war Murias sold La Meridiana due to unrest in Cuba.
