"Overall, this was a solid performing stick in terms of construction and complexity. Perfection in the draw, burn, and construction category made this stick a dream to smoke on the technical aspect. "This was a fairly complex and transitional medium-bodied cigar. The flavors were well-balanced, and definitely up my alley. The only downside was the amount of attention this needed all the way through. I’d absolutely pick up another one in hopes that the burn issues I had were just a fluke. "This cigar started out great. It had a remarkable flavor combination of graham cracker and leather that I would have otherwise wouldn't have seen coming. The burn was outstanding with nothing but a kiss of flame at the beginning to kick off a couple hours of enjoyment. Sadly, there was little flavor transition through the cigar until the flavors seemed to fall apart in the final third. Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Polpetta – Blind Cigar Review

In 2019, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust introduced their first event-only cigar, the "Polpetta". By 2023, it was adapted into a regular production cigar. The Polpetta, rolled at the Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. factory, was well received by our panel for its earthy coffee notes, spice, dark chocolate, hint of leather and excellent draw. Constructed in a Rothschild vitola shape, it now sells for $7.30 each.
