Rock-A-Feller has announced a new size in the Nicaragua Habano line, a lonsdale. It joins the existing sizes that include Robusto 5x52 , Toro 6x52 , Torpedo 6 1/8 x52 , Churchill 7x48,Toro, and Gordo 6x60.
Jake Wyatt Cigars is officially launching the Lancero Gourmet Collection at PCA 2022. The company has slowly building towards this release with the addition of the lancero vitola to their Lithium line in January and the Lancero sampler of the Gourmet Collection that came out in 2021. This announcement adds all those cigars as regular production cigars.

"This may be the most tree-like cigar I have ever had. The solid smoky oak flavor was strong and prominent from start to finish. Occasional cedar, floral notes, and white pepper on the retrohale added a bit of interest but overall I wouldn't call this a very complex stick. It also smoked faster than I expected at just barely over an hour. For that length, complexity isn't that necessary. Quality Importers Trading Company has hired Michael Giannini to their senior management team for a new position, Chief of Customer Engagement. In his new role he will be responsible for the Sales, Marketing, and Messaging initiatives of the company. Giannini has been in the premium cigar business since the early 1980s. While working on a Master’s Degree in Psychology, teaching and cooking professionally on the weekends, his true passion was in the premium cigar business. To pursue this passion, he began working at a local Philadelphia cigar shop as a store manager, and then became co-owner of an independent manufacturer’s representation firm. He left those roles to become the National Sales Manager for Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s El Credito Cigar Company – while continuing to work on his culinary and fashion skills when time permitted. After the acquisition of El Credito by Swedish Match, the El Credito portfolio merged into General Cigar, where he became Director of Marketing for the La Gloria Cubana brand.
CAO (General Cigar) has announced a new cigar line CAO BX3. This follows in the footsteps of cigars like MX2, CX2, and LX2 with the letters representing the type of tobacco used in the blend and the number representing the number of leaves used. In this case, BX3 refers to Brazilian tobacco times three.
United Cigars has announced a new cigar debuting at PCA: YAYA. There will also be a PCA exclusive size, the Short Robusto. This will be the first time United Cigars has attended PCA since 2019, and will now have an even bigger booth. YAYA has technically been around since 2021 as a house blend for a United Cigars branded lounge owned by Carlos Guillermo.
Ferio Tego has announced the return of their flagship lines, Elegancia and Generoso, for 2022. Both cigars will be in the same blends and sizes as their 2021 launch counterparts. Both cigars measure 6 x 50 in a toro size and come in custom, hand-made travel humidors of ten cigars. The humidors come with humidity control packs built into the lower compartment. The Ferio Tego Generoso made #9 on our Top 25 Cigars of 2021 list.
Drew Estate is expanding the availability of the Liga Privada 10 Aniversario Connecticut Criollo. Since its release in 2018, it has been nearly impossible to find and now will be regularly available as monthly allocation for qualifying Drew Diplomat Program participants beginning in mid-June.
Macanudo (General Cigar) has announced a second limited-edition cigar in the Inspirado line. The first limited Inspirado was the Macanudo Inspirado Brazilian Shade from 2021. The Macanudo Inspirado Jamao gets its name from a proprietary wrapper grown on a network of tobacco fields in the Northwestern Dominican Republic.

"This cigar had many of the things I enjoy... great construction, draw, and burn with a wonderful medium-full bodied profile. The complexity of this cigar was fairly decent as well, ranging in flavors from leather, black pepper, cream, peanut butter, and malt made for a fantastic combination.
