Altadis U.S.A. is bringing a new release to TPE 2020 next week: Harvester & Co. Connecticut. The cigar gets its inspiration from the famous 1880s horse who won numerous races as well as the Connecticut seed from which the tobacco comes.
“We really put a lot of time and effort into creating the best cigar for the money, which any cigar smoker can appreciate,” Dane Devereux, Brand Manager at Altadis U.S.A. “The well-aged Connecticut-seed wrapper gives the cigar a refined profile, while the Nicaraguan binder and filler provide enough complexity to keep the experience interesting.”
Harvester & Co. Connecticut is rolled by the Plasencia Family in Nicaragua. The blend uses a Connecticut-seed wrapper and Nicaraguan binder and fillers. This is meant to be a value-oriented cigar. “Whether you’re wearing a tuxedo or sitting in your garage with a space heater in the dead of winter, the Harvester is the perfect companion to that moment of pleasure.” Devereux said. For retail, the cigar comes in a branded tray containing all four sizes. All cigars come in 20-count bundles and will be offered in the following vitolas: Robusto: 54 x 5 – MSRP: $5.00, Toro: 50 x 6 – MSRP: $5.25, Churchill: 50 x 7 – MSRP: $5.50, Magnum: 60 x 6 – MSRP: $5.75. The company says that other wrapper versions are coming in the near future.
