December 8, 2015 — Black Works Studio (BLK WKS) is pleased to announce the shipment of it's first three releases: NBK, Killer Bee and Rorschach. The blends highlight Nicaraguan tobacco and are hand crafted in small batches at Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua.
“I'm very excited to finally have these blends in the market, these have been my “go to” daily smokes for the last year. NBK & Killer Bee both walk the line between Med/Full and Full in terms of strength. Flavor wise they are extremely rich with intense flavors of earth, malts and cocoa. The strength and body are very balanced with many subtle and elegant nuances. I chose to do a closed foot on both because it allows for the first draw of the cigar to highlight the intense flavor profile of the wrapper. This big blast of flavor sets the tone for the rest of the cigar,” said James Brown, creator of BLK WKS and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.
“Rorschach started as our house cigar at the factory as its made up of a mix of all our different filler tobaccos. That's the story behind the name, each batch is unique and up for interpretation, like a Rorschach image. It is a medium bodied cigar with a very unique and ever changing flavor profile,” continued Brown.
