CAO has announced a virtual tour of the Pan American highway from April to December 2018 with Master Blender Rick Rodriguez. His online trek will start go from North America to Mexico on the banks of the Rio Grande at Nuevo Laredo. Here the Pan Am highway became known in Spanish as the Autopista and connects to many countries to the South. He will travel through the jungles, mountains and deserts of Central America, and finally taking the highway to end in the sub-tropical South American paradise of Brazil.
Rick will cover the origins of CAO‘s most famous tobaccos and give exclusive details on new CAO blends to come. There will be a video game and sweepstakes launching on April 2. Exclusive Pan Am Tour prizes will be awarded via the website at the end of May, July and September, and on the brand’s Facebook and Twitter channels, @caocigars.
Rick said, “With CAO, our blends encompass so many countries and growing regions, it’s sometimes hard for people to keep track of what they’re smoking. The Pan Am tour gives me the chance to share my insights into the tobaccos we select for CAO cigars, and connect our fans with the lengths we go to develop our blends.”
There will also be an in-store element to the tour. His Pan American Tour will be mirrored the U.S. for an experience for CAO‘s unique blends. Events will take place between April and December, 2018 and at each event, CAO fans can win items like lighters, tee shirts and duffle bags, and have the opportunity to smoke special Pan Am Tour-exclusive cigars blended by Rick and the CAO team.
